At Mental Health Matters LLC, we believe that everyone has the potential to lead a fulfilling and meaningful life. Our skills training services are specifically designed to provide psychological support and enhance mental wellness, helping our clients unlock their potential and achieve their goals.
We offer a wide range of mental wellness services, including individual training sessions, couples skills training courses, and online psycho-educational groups that provide ongoing support. Our services are tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients.
We take an eclectic view about healing, focusing on mental wellness through the integration of mind, body, and spirit. Our approach incorporates a wide variety of evidence-based techniques, including psychological support and skills training, to help our clients achieve optimal mental health.

We are in the mindset that people can heal and can help each other heal, which aligns with our commitment to mental wellness. This belief is the foundation of our work. We assist clients in navigating taxing situations by collaboratively finding new ways to think, feel, and connect. We promote honoring relationship needs, being heard, and improving communication skills through effective skills training and actice listening tequniques. Our approach is strength-based, focusing on creating safe community spaces for everyone.

Building a foundation of acceptance with your own unique truth, with intention, brings you to a better place in the future. By providing a safe space for individuals to heal, we ensure that they receive the necessary psychological support in order to move towards deeper connections and inner peace. Accepting and integrating (reacting differently in real time) by practicing new skills and letting go of past reactivivity allows people heal and thrive.

Building stronger communities by improving mental wellness through feedback and accountability is the ultimate goal. Continuing to show up for each other requires courage and commitment. Everybody is hard-wired to be part of a safe community. How we navigate that process can be a challenge but can also bring greater levels of joy and freedom.

My hope for you...
Allow yourself grace for what you didn't know. Care deeply and with abundance for yourself (and others). Seek positive role models and mentors who can provide psychological support. Know that healing happens by osmosis (once a person chooses to heal, whole systems also begin to heal). Even though things get hard sometimes they can also get better.

Set goals for a better future while seeking psychological support when needed. Take measures to improve your life and focus on your mental wellness using scientifically proven methods such as breathing, grounding, and pacing. Practice being gentle with each other and yourself. Remain present when you can, give yourself grace and stay safe!
